Wolfgang Prinzenberg has been admitted to the Hamburg Bar since 1982 and specializes in commercial and corporate law as well as white-collar criminal law.

Wolfgang Prinzenberg defends individuals and advises companies on all criminal compliance issues as well as the establishment and refinement of compliance systems. He also defends German nationals abroad with the help of an international network of colleagues.

Having offered counsel to clients on commercial and corporate law issues for many years (often at the intersection of commercial criminal law), Wolfgang Prinzenberg’s work focuses on advising on the formation and development of corporate law structures due to the growth of enterprises and their internationalization.

His criminal law work has focused on proceedings linked to the financial market crisis, representation before parliamentary committees of enquiry, criminal tax law, embargo violations in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, the so-called diesel scandal, Cum-ex-related matters and medical criminal law.

Wolfgang Prinzenberg advises companies in the healthcare sector, in the field of generative AI and the development of software and business models for energy solutions on the establishment and subsequent legal support of compliance systems.
