We are very pleased to welcome Ms. Kristina Konrad to our team at Pragal & Prinzenberg as of 1 December 2025. With her, we gain a colleague who has worked for many years in a senior role in the field of compliance and who will now bring her extensive experience to our firm.
Ms. Konrad completed her legal training with the Second State Examination in Düsseldorf and early on focused on business-oriented advisory work. After several years as Senior Legal Counsel at Senvion SE, she most recently spent ten years as Compliance and Equal Treatment Officer at Stromnetz Hamburg and Hamburger Energienetze GmbH. In these roles, she was responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring complex compliance structures in a highly regulated environment.
Experience in regulation, corporate governance, and corporate practice
Her areas of focus range from the implementation and auditing of compliance management systems according to IDW PS 980 and ISO 37301, to the establishment of internal reporting offices under the Whistleblower Protection Act, and the training of executives and employees. In doing so, Ms. Konrad combines legal expertise with the ability to apply regulatory requirements in a practical way—an asset that our clients will particularly value in the future.
In addition, she brings extensive expertise in contract drafting, transactional processes (M&A), and strategic business consulting. This intersection between traditional compliance advisory and corporate law expertise creates valuable synergies for our firm and our clients.
Professional association involvement and networking
In addition to her work in private and public companies, Ms. Konrad has been actively involved for many years in the Professional Association of Compliance Managers (BCM) e.V. Most recently, she served as head of the Northern Regional Group, significantly shaping the professional exchange among compliance officers in Northern Germany. This network and her association work underscore her high professional recognition and will also benefit our firm and our clients.

Through her many years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, Ms. Konrad is highly familiar with the specific challenges of regulated markets. At the same time, she has international experience and is capable of supporting cross-border business processes.
This enables us to further strengthen and expand our advisory services in compliance and corporate defense, tailored to both medium-sized companies and large corporations.
