But before the guests were able to enjoy the buffet, our name partners joined Verena Hinze and Lucas Clair from KPMG in the International Maritime Museum Hamburg to discuss the topic of ‘Internal Investigations and Corporate Defence’.
The discussion highlighted important aspects of internal investigations, corporate defence and the management of compliance crises.
Specific topics covered included triggers and objectives for an internal investigation, key decisions for an internal investigation, coordination between internal investigations and corporate defence, dealing with investigating authorities and searches, relevant deadlines and pitfalls and the use of forensic software and artificial intelligence.
Afterwards, all guests were warmly welcomed to Brooktorkai 20 for drinks and food.
